Home Care Nurse (RN/LPN) in Midway

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide oversight and support to Care Aids in a home setting, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for an elderly patient with palliative care needs. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring effective symptom management and holistic care for our patient. This position requires a deep understanding of palliative care, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Symptom Management, Care Aid Oversight, Patient and Family Support, Documentation, Collaboration, Education, Emergency Response, Safety and Infection Control.

Qualifications:

• Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in palliative care nursing.
• Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification or better
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a home setting and adapt to changing care needs.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
