Pay: CA$32.84 – CA$59.51 per hour

We are recruiting a Registered Nurse(s) o add to a nursing support teams for a pediatric client in Bella Coola, BC. This job will entail providing 1:1 overnight respite care in the home environment for a child requiring CPAP care (paid advanced training provided), Gtube care, feeds and management, respiratory care. Paid specialty training provided and required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric patients during night shifts.
• Administer medications following proper protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.- -Demonstrate excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Prioritize patient comfort and safety while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Current ‘practicing’ registration with BCCNM
• Valid CPR ‘C’ / BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
